Fun fact, I am neither of these people and their hands. Thanks to Cameron and Brian for being the Artist/Illustrator and the Writer/Greg.
This was actually finished on time, but I was holding on to this because this is probably where it starts getting controversial. They’re actually the first white characters in the comic (besides Mark), and I promise I’m not trying to start a race war between my diverse characters and my evil white creators. Jeg er, men, trying to reflect a reality of comics, if in a weird, bent, general way. About what comics are and have been, not what they should or should be.
Og selvfølgelig, it’s more about fiction, in general, and how you might see your author if you were a character, and had a chance to peep in on one of these creative sessions.
If you could see your author, I’m sure you’d have questions.
Illustrator (hand pointing, accusing): "Greg, Greg, what the hell? I didn't hire you to go behind my back to my publisher and whine about me, you little--"
Greg (writer, hands palm up in explaining supplication): "I-I-I didn't whine about you, just about the way you draw our, vores, lady characters, mand, I mean Natasha's just a teenager, Jeg ved, and you gave her--"
Illustrator: Se, I've been in this business since looooong before Melchers bit the dust, kid. This is a comic for boys. Maybe you ain't right, but all the other men on the planet like a little show and tell.
Illustrator (hand up, dissmissive, palm out): Åh, shut up! Last time I checked we're already filling all your little cute social justice quotas. Now rewrite the freakin' story like I told you last week. Skye is the main character, and the way you're writing him now he's a total bust. He needs to grow the f*** up. Kill this Jun storyline--and I mean, kill it and her--and crush and rebuild him. Start with Thunder, you got some good sh** there, you can use her pain to hurt him.
Greg/author: That's--but--she has her own story, og --
Illustrator (yells): Mig! You wanna be a comics writer or not?
Forfatter (slams fist on the table): Ja! Yes I do!
Illustrator: Then let it go and just have a little fun, Okay?
Forfatter: *sigh* Okay.
